Terms of Service

Clear terms, in plain language

These terms govern all Malabar Drones programs and services — demo days, trainings, flying-hours slots, event flying and advisory. One principle runs through all of them: every booking is confirmed by payment.

Clause 1 · Bookings & Payment

Prepaid only — confirmed by payment

  • All services are prepaid. A slot, date or program is confirmed only when full payment (or the agreed advance for monthly retainers) is received via UPI or bank transfer.
  • Quotes are valid for 14 days from issue unless stated otherwise. A GST invoice is issued against every payment.
  • Enquiries and proposals do not reserve dates. Calendar priority follows payment order.
Clause 2 · Scheduling, Weather & Rescheduling

Flights follow weather and law, not wishes

  • Drone operations are weather-dependent. If wind, rain or visibility make flying unsafe on a booked date, flying components are rescheduled to the next mutually available date at no extra cost; classroom components proceed as planned where possible.
  • Institution-requested rescheduling with 7+ days' notice: one free reschedule per booking. Shorter notice may attract a rescheduling fee to cover committed logistics.
  • If Malabar Drones must cancel and no reschedule is possible, the amount paid for the undelivered portion is refunded in full.
Clause 3 · Regulatory Compliance

We fly by the DGCA rulebook

  • All flights are conducted under prevailing DGCA regulations using type-certified drones with valid UUID, by certified pilots/instructors.
  • Operations occur only in permissible airspace zones, with permissions obtained where required. If a venue falls in restricted airspace and no permission is obtainable, flying components move to the nearest compliant location or are rescheduled.
  • The host institution agrees to provide accurate venue details and follow our safety perimeter instructions during flights.
Clause 4 · Training & Certificates

What our certificates are — and aren't

  • Certificates issued by Malabar Drones record participation and supervised flying hours. They are not a DGCA Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC); the RPC is issued only through DGCA-approved RPTOs.
  • Flying hours are logged per participant and shared with the institution at program close.
  • Participants must follow instructor directions at all times; anyone operating unsafely may be paused from flying activities without refund for that session.
Clause 5 · Equipment & Liability

Our aircraft, our responsibility — with your cooperation

  • Aircraft, batteries and ground equipment remain the property of Malabar Drones / BeatCruit Consulting at all times.
  • Damage to equipment caused by wilful disregard of instructor directions may be charged to the responsible party as per the pre-shared damage schedule.
  • Malabar Drones carries out risk assessment for every venue; the institution is responsible for crowd discipline outside the marked flight perimeter.
Clause 6 · Content & Media

Photos and footage

  • Aerial and ground media captured during programs may be used by both the institution and Malabar Drones for non-commercial promotion, with credit. Any restriction must be agreed in writing before the event.
  • Raw footage deliverables, where part of the package, are shared within 7 working days of the event.
Clause 7 · General

The fine print, briefly

  • Malabar Drones is a venture of BeatCruit Consulting, a GST-registered entity in Karnataka, India. All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Karnataka.
  • These terms may be updated from time to time; the version on this page at the time of booking applies to that booking.
